What is Huile de Parfum?

Huile de Parfum is the traditional French designation for pure perfume oil — the highest concentration format available in fine fragrance. This is the definitive standard of HauteBlends: 100% pure, finished fine fragrance compositions with zero alcohol, zero carrier oil, and zero dilution. More of what you want. Less of what you don't.

What makes HauteBlends different from other perfume oil brands?

Two categories dominate the perfume oil space — and neither is what HauteBlends is.

Certain retail and department store brands use quality fragrance oils — but dilute them into a carrier base and market the result as perfume oil. What they are selling is effectively a perfumed body oil. Indie and small brands frequently go further, using generic stock fragrance oils — the same materials formulated for candles and soap production. Not intended for direct skin wear, and often smelling synthetic as a result.

HauteBlends is neither. Our concentrates are finished fine fragrance compositions — formulated by perfumers at globally renowned, prestigious European fragrance houses. The same standard behind the world's leading luxury and prestige brands. Pure composition. Nothing added. Nothing diluted.

How does HauteBlends compare to an Eau de Parfum (EDP)?

Neither format is objectively superior — they perform differently, and many connoisseurs use both intentionally.

An alcohol-based EDP projects broadly in the first hour through rapid evaporation. At 20–30% concentration in a 50ml bottle, roughly 10–15ml is actual fragrance — the rest is alcohol and carrier.

HauteBlends perfume oil concentrates are 100% pure fragrance composition. No alcohol. No carrier. The entire bottle is scent. It settles close to the skin, develops with your body heat, and delivers a sustained, evolving presence that an EDP cannot replicate at the same concentration level.

HauteBlends wears as a complete, standalone fragrance experience. Some choose to wear an EDP for an opening projection and their HauteBlends concentrate for lasting depth — both are valid. What matters is that our concentrate stands entirely on its own.

How long does HauteBlends perfume oil concentrate last on the skin?

Our unyielding formulation standard — before any composition enters the collection — is all-day performance. On skin, longevity of 8+ hours is typical, though individual experience will naturally vary based on skin chemistry and the specific composition being worn.

How do I apply my HauteBlends perfume oil concentrate?

Apply directly to your pulse points — wrists, inner elbows, behind the knees, collarbone, and behind the ears — exactly as you would a perfume. These areas generate the natural body heat that activates and evolves the composition throughout the day.

The HauteBlends Ritual

Add a few drops to your favorite unscented body oil or body butter for a full-body scent experience that wears like a second skin.

Application Tip: When applying to pulse points, allow the oil to settle directly on the skin. For maximum projection and longevity, do not rub — if needed, dab gently once. Letting the oil rest undisturbed allows your body warmth to activate and develop the full fragrance experience.
Is HauteBlends safe for sensitive skin?

Our concentrates contain zero alcohol — the primary cause of dryness and irritation in alcohol-based fragrances. All formulas are entirely vegan and cruelty-free.

We always recommend performing a patch test on your inner arm before full wear. Individual skin responses to fragrance materials will always vary.

What you may observe in your bottle — and why it is a sign of quality.
Our concentrates are finished fine fragrance compositions and may naturally display slight color variation between batches, suspended aromatic particles, or natural settling of aromatic material at the base of the bottle. These are natural characteristics of high-quality fragrance materials — not defects, not signs of spoilage, not cause for concern.

In certain compositions with a high concentration of natural aromatic compounds, you may notice a delicate pearlescent shimmer or fine light-reflecting particles resting at the base of the bottle. This is a natural characteristic of the raw material itself — not added shimmer, not mica, not a flaw. It is simply what pure, high-quality aromatic compounds can do. Shake gently to reincorporate before use.

Why does the color of my oil look slightly different from what I expected?

Natural fragrance materials carry inherent color. Because our concentrates are finished fine fragrance compositions with no synthetic colorants or artificial stabilizers, slight color variation between batches is natural and expected. It is a mark of quality — not inconsistency. Scent performance and formula integrity are unaffected.

How should I store my HauteBlends concentrate?

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperature changes. Because our concentrates contain zero fixed carrier oils, they are highly resistant to oxidation. With the dropper cap securely sealed and proper storage conditions, your formula retains its full integrity for years — it will not turn sour, fade, or degrade the way carrier-based oils do.


03 — Your Order
What is the status of my order?

Sign into your account and visit the Orders page for your most current status. Updates are also sent automatically via email throughout the process. Once your shipping label is generated, you will receive an automated tracking link — please allow up to 24 hours for tracking details to populate.

Processing Time

2–3 business days. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed the next business day. Processing may extend slightly during promotional periods or peak seasons.

6–8 business days from the date of shipment.

Can I cancel or modify my order after it has been placed?

Cancellation requests may be submitted within 1 hour of placing your order via our Contact page. Please note that cancellation within this window is not guaranteed — orders move into fulfillment immediately. We will make every effort to accommodate requests submitted promptly.

Requests submitted after the 1-hour window will not be accommodated. We recommend reviewing your order carefully before completing checkout.

Can I change my shipping address after placing my order?

Address change requests must be submitted within 1 hour of placing your order via our Contact page. Address changes are not guaranteed — it is the customer's responsibility to verify the correct, complete shipping address before completing checkout.

If your order has already shipped, you may be able to redirect, forward, or place your package on hold directly through the carrier's website using your tracking number. Both UPS (ups.com) and USPS (usps.com) offer these services — please check the carrier's website for current options and availability.


04 — Shipping
My tracking says "Delivered" but I have not received my package. What do I do?

Once a package leaves our facility and is handed to the carrier, we no longer have control over how it is handled in transit. If your tracking shows delivered but you have not received your package, we recommend first checking with neighbors, building management, or any secure package areas at your address.

If the package is still unaccounted for, contact your carrier directly to initiate an investigation using the geo-tag delivery location on your tracking record. The carrier will advise you on next steps.

Please note: all packages are automatically insured up to $100 by the carrier against loss or damage in transit. The carrier will guide you through the claims process if applicable.

It is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure the accuracy, deliverability, and accessibility of the shipping address entered at checkout. HauteBlends is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrectly provided address or for failed delivery attempts resulting from customer error. If a package is returned to our facility due to an incorrect address or failed delivery, the customer will be responsible for additional shipping charges to resend the order.

We strongly recommend adding Package Protection at checkout. It is the most reliable recourse for loss or theft beyond the carrier's standard coverage.

05 — Returns, Cancellations & Protection
What is your return and exchange policy?

Due to the pure, uncompromised nature of our Huile de Parfum concentrates and strict cosmetic hygiene standards, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges.

Returns sent without prior written authorization will be discarded upon receipt and no credit will be issued.

Please note: fragrance is deeply personal and subjective. While we describe each scent to the best of our ability, scent perception varies from person to person and skin to skin. We encourage you to read each scent profile carefully before purchasing.
Are there exceptions to the return policy?

We are committed to your satisfaction. Exceptions for replacement or store credit will be considered within 72 hours of confirmed delivery in the following situations only:

  • Wrong product sent — If you receive a product different from what you ordered, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery confirmation with photo and video proof so we can take the necessary action.
  • Missing or incomplete order — In the rare event that an item is missing from your order, please notify us within 72 hours of confirmed delivery. Despite our comprehensive fulfillment system, should a discrepancy occur, we will verify against our records and apply the appropriate resolution. We ask that you reach out within this window to ensure we can address your concern promptly and accurately.
  • Defective product — We ask that you inspect all products within 72 hours of receiving your order. If you receive a defective product, contact us within the same timeframe via our Contact page with clear photographic and video evidence. Upon receipt of a return for inspection, the product will be evaluated for usage. Our liability is limited to the value of the purchased item.

Clear photographic and video evidence is required to assess any claim.

What if my order arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged or leaking, please contact us within 72 hours of confirmed delivery with the following:

  • A short unboxing video showing the condition of the package upon opening
  • Clear photographs of the damaged item and outer packaging

If the damage is determined to be on our end, we will apply the appropriate resolution promptly.

If the damage occurred during transit, please contact your carrier directly to file a claim. All packages are automatically insured up to $100 against loss and damage by the carrier — they will guide you through the claims process.

Our liability is limited to the value of the purchased item.

What happens if my package is lost or stolen?

Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, HauteBlends considers the order fulfilled. We are not responsible for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery.

If you believe your package was stolen, please file a report with your local authorities and contact your carrier directly to initiate a claim under their standard insurance coverage.
